About | Lynn Ann Walsky Obituary Lynn Ann Walsky, age 54, a resident of Yorkville, IL for five years, formerly of Naperville and Aurora, IL, died suddenly Sunday, September 16, 2007 at her home from injuries sustained in an accident. She was born August 21, 1953 in Elmhurst, IL. Lynn is survived by her mother, Ruth (nee Petrick) Walsky of Naperville; three sisters, Christine Anderson of Naperville, Donna (William) Plumb of Oswego, IL and Janet Irwin of Naperville; two nieces, Miranda (Tom) Ell and Elizabeth Anderson; two nephews, Benjamin (Brandi) Irwin and Mitch Irwin; a great-niece, Brooke Irwin; and a great-nephew, William Irwin. She was preceded in death by her father, William Walsky. Lynn grew up in Naperville, attended SS. Peter & Paul Grade School and was a 1971 graduate of Naperville Central High School. She was employed for many years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was the first female letter carrier in the Naperville office. Lynn enjoyed horseback riding, painting and playing the violin. A lover of animals, Lynn leaves behind her beloved horse, Sydney and German Shepherd, Sky. Visitation Thursday, September 20, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Friday, September 21, 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to an 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville. Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
