| About | Marjorie Stone Stone, Marjorie Louise "Marjie" (nee Ory) Age 59, a resident of Plano, IL and earlier longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her daughters and husband. She was born in Naperville, IL on November 21, 1953. Margie is survived by her devoted husband of 19 years, Bob Stone; her loving children Aimee (Dr. William) Harenburg, Cara (William) Knierim, and Nicole (Shane) Harwood; her stepchildren Brady (Joni) Stone, Meghan (Kyle) Dean; and her eight grandchildren Sophia, Cade, Colette, Jaden, Tyler, Vivienne, Reese, and Scarlet; her loving siblings Marianne Hume, James (Antoinette) Ory, Philip Ory, Michael (Wendy) Ory, Virginia (Joseph) Mocerino, William Ory, Andrew Ory, and Timothy (Joyce) Ory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis "Jim" and Marion Ory, her ex-husband Ronald Scaravilli, and her sister Kathleen (Robert) Guler. Marjie grew up in Naperville and was a graduate of SS. Peter & Paul Grade School, Class of 1967, and later Naperville Central High School, Class of 1971. She later studied dental assisting at Indiana University at South Bend. Marjie worked for Grove Dental Associates where she met Bob. As a 20-year breast cancer survivor, Marjie faced unafraid the two-year battle with the cancer that took her life. Marjie's primary commitment was always to her children and later grandchildren. Marjie could be hailed as avid cook, discerning collector, elegant sartorialist, homemaker, sometime tourist, leader of the family, gracious host of innumerable gatherings, and sometime humorist, with her kitchen having only one rule: "clean up your mess." Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville.
