| About | Robin Sprowls Obituary Sprowls, Robin (nee Hawken) 60, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Avow Hospice surrounded by her family. A longtime resident of Naperville, IL, Robin chose Naples as home for her family in 1991. Born on November 15, 1953 in Long Beach, CA to William "Bill" and Evelyn Hawken, Robin was a 1971 graduate of Naperville Central High School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Emily Rose Moore in 1981, and her beloved son, William "Billy" Moore in 2001. Robin is survived by her loving husband, Brad Sprowls of Naples, FL, whom she married in 1995; children, John Moore of Atlanta, GA and Carly Moore of Cape Coral, FL; stepchildren, Brandon Sprowls of Jacksonville, FL and Leigh Sprowls of Lusby, MD; brother, Russell "Mick" (Kathy) Hawken of Naperville, IL; nephew, Jamie (Diana) Hawken of Naperville, IL; and niece, Laura Hawken of Plainfield, IL. A devoted mother, Robin was an extraordinary cook, who always had room at her table for friends to share in the festive meals she loved to prepare. She was happiest when cooking for a house full of family and friends, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. A Memorial Service to celebrate Robin's life will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 4:00p.m. at the Ispiri Community Center on the Avow Hospice campus, 1205 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL, 34105. The family would like to thank Robin's dear friend, Connie Kopp of Naperville, IL, for her loving support and assistance during Robin's illness as well as the staff of Avow Hospice.
