About | Carol Jean Eggerding, 75, of Columbia passed away on May 30, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Carol was born May 13, 1946, in St. Louis, the daughter of Albert and Verna Kloepper Bingham. On June 17, 1967, she married Lou Eggerding in Baldwin, Illinois. Carol was a Registered Nurse working at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis and later as a School Nurse for the Bayless School District in St. Louis. She was a member of the Junior Auxiliary in Slidell, Louisiana. Carol sang soprano in the church choirs in the churches they attended. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbia where she was a member of the Mary Martha-WML. Carol is survived by her husband, Lou; sons, Michael and Matthew; brother, Larry Bingham; sister, Cheryl Salger and two grandchildren, Brandon and Katie. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbia, Missouri. Visitation for family and friends will be at 9:00 a.m. until time for the service at the church. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Red Bud, Illinois on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2201 W.
