| About | SARAH MARIE PIKES was born on December 12, 1980 to the proud parents of Larry and Julie Pikes. Sarah confessed to the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior at a young age and attended New Faith Baptist Church. As a child, Sarah attended Child's World Montessori Center in Park Forest, Illinois. She then went on to atten Neil Armstrong School and graduated from Ric South High School in 1998, both located in Richton Park, Illinois. She was in Who's Who and on the National Honor Society. Once graduated from high school, she attended Western Illinois University for two years. While there she became a Sigma Dove and was crowned Princess Dove. She then tranferred to Illinois State University where she completed another two years majoring in Sociology. She was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. Sarah loved to work with children. She worked at the Second Presbyterian Church in Normal, Illinois where she wokred in the Children's Nursery. Sarah was also employed at the Denny's restaurant in Matteson, Illinois. Sarah's favorite pass times were listening to music, talking on the phone to her mother (her best friend), spending time with family, having parties, and always loved to give encouraging words to others. Sarah will be remembered by her beautiful smile, vibrant personality, and her encouraging words. The RSHS Class of 1998 continues to miss Sarah. |
