About Holly Elizabeth O'Hare, nee Pfau, 49, of Lisle, after 25 courageous years battling cancer, Holly passed peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2004 surrounded by her family at Hinsdale Hospital. Holly is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years George L. O'Hare, III of Lisle; her loving parents, Charles and Elizabeth Pfau of North Riverside; her dear brothers, Charlie (Lynn) Pfau of Naperville and Gregory (Ann) Parker of Tallahassee, FL; her dear sister, Dawn (Richard) Pearson of Arlington Heights; her wonderful nieces and nephews, Matthew, Rosemary, Jennifer, Christopher, Maggie, Mary Katherine, Tom, Jill, Steven, Cathy, Rachel, David and Paul; her loving parents-in-law, George and Jean O'Hare of Hinsdale; dear brothers-in-law, Mike (Ana) O'Hare of Naperville and Bob O'Hare of Hinsdale; her beloved Golden Retrievers Cassey and Cody, her cats Oreo and Tiger and her horse Jake. She will also be deeply missed by all of her friends and students. Holly has been a dedicated Special Education teacher for over 25 years at Central School, Riverside. In addition to her teaching, Holly had a passion of life, animals, gardening and horseback riding. The people whose lives she touched will never forget her or the wonderful life that she lived. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 769, Hillside, 60162. Prayers Friday, May 14, 10 a.m. from The Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville and proceed to a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Irene Catholic Church, 28W531 Warrenville Rd., Warrenville 60555. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
