Bradley Wolfe ( April 03, 1949 - April 01, 2023 ) Jon Bradley “J.B.” Wolfe, 73, of Rockford, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 3, 1949, in Zanesvi11e, OH, the son of James and Marie (Hupp) Wolfe. After being together for eight years, he married his wife, JoEllyn, on December 30, 2021, in Rockford. J.B. proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1969-1973. He was stationed in South Korea at Osan AFB, There. he worked with the K9 unit and trained the dogs that were sent to Vietnam. He loved to regale friends and family with stories from his time in the Air Force. J.B. worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved trucking and all the experiences that came with life on the road. He loved music, both listening to and playing. He had all sorts of sound equipment to enhance his listening experience. He was an avid photographer who especially loved photographing nature. J.B. is survived by his wife, JoEllyn, of Rockford; two children, Justin Wolfe and Taylor Wolfe, both of Madison, WI; the mother of his children, Diana Wolfe of Madison; four siblings, Jim (Maren) Wolfe of Brandon, FL, Pam (Kenny) Sievers of Batchtown, IL, Jeff (Debbie) Wolfe of Lake City, FL, and Nena (Vern) Stewart of Rochelle; two step-children, Douglas (Darcy) Wenzel and Amy (Dave) Steffen, both of Rockford; four step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Steve (Terry) Conour of Florida; sister-in-law, Jane (Larry) Laurence of Stillman Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. J.B. is preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Wolfe. |
