About | Ronald (Ron) R. Butler passed away peacefully on November 16, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. A natural entrepreneur born on August 9, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, Ron moved to Seattle in 1971 to pursue a long and successful career as an owner/operator of Business Management Services, an employment and recruiting consulting firm. It grew to become the largest privately held company within the employment industry in the Pacific Northwest. He became a mentor for many young entrepreneurs over the years as his success grew and expanded into financial and property development. Ron retired in 2010 and enjoyed several years of his favorite pastimes including fishing and boating. He passed away after a courageous fight against cancer. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Kitima, daughters Patti Haiduck (Scott) and Jill Butler, sister Carol Claricoates (Greg), and two wonderful grandchildren, Garrett and Alexis. He is preceded in death by his sons Richard (Rick) and Jeffrey (Jeff) Butler. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but his influence will be felt by many for years to come.
