About | Henry was a member of the class of 1962 and the National Honor Society. He attended both Purdue Northwest and Indiana University in Bloomington. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point with a BS in biology and was a resident of Three Lakes, Wisconsin, at the time of his death. Henry was married to classmate Nancy Lee Feasel for over 20 years. They were parents to two adopted children, Ryan and Kristen. Henry served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1966 to 1971 and was assigned to an Engineer Batallion in NW Indiana. He was trained in demolitions at Camp Lejeune Marine Base in NC and also performed electrical work in the Corps. He worked for both the Indiana Harbor Belt RR (in Indiana) and the Soo Line RR (in Wisconsin) as an electrician and was President of the local at the Gibson Yards in Hessville. He also had a realtor's license, various specialized trade certifications and operated two small businesses during his lifetime. In various communities where he lived, he was a member three Lutheran parishes, and he was a member of the Three Lakes (WI) Lions Club. He coached youth hockey and was a Cub Scout den leader in central Wisconsin. "Hank" was an avid hunter (bows & guns) and also enjoyed fishing, particularly on the Three Lakes "chain of lakes" in Northern Wisconsin, where his father was born and raised. |
