Services for James E. Watts, 40, of 1114 Van Tower Drive, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in East Main Street Church of God. He died at 10:56 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in a vehicle accident on U.S. 24 West. Born Sept. 23, 1961, in Rochester, he was the son of Morris C. and Carolyn S. Korreckt Watts. He was a 1980 graduate of Peru High School. The owner of Watts Tire Service, he was a member of East Main Street Church of God. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn S. Gatzimos, Logansport; one son, Kirby C. Watts, Logansport; one stepson, Nolan Pugh, and his mother, Sarah Watts, both of Logansport; one brother, Tim Watts, Rockford, Ill.; two stepbrothers, Bill Gatzimos and his wife, Brenda, Nashville, Tenn., and Alexander Gatzimos, Lebanon; one stepsister, Tina Franke and her husband, Tom, Monroeville; maternal grandmother, Ruby Hardy, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. His stepfather, Dr. Christos D. Gatzimos, and one stepbrother, Jim Gatzimos, preceded in death. Pastor Dr. Gregory Elkins will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. |
