Mr. David Roman Collazo , age 39,of Lake Station, IN, passed away in Portage, IN, on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was born March 12, 1981, in Gary, IN. and was a graduate of River Forest High School in New Chicago, IN. David is survived by his children, Angelina and Max Collazo; parents, Sebastian R. Collazo Jr. and Concepsion Collazo of Lake Station, IN.; siblings, Sebastian R. Collazo, III, Candy Collazo, Christina (Jason) Collazo Lozanovski, and Veronica Collazo all of Lake Station, IN.; nieces and nephews, Dominique Collazo, Jasmine Collazo, Destiny Martinez, Iszabella Collazo, Sean Lozanovski, Sebastian R. Collazo IV, Luke Lozanovski, and Zane Lozanovski; and great niece, Mia Collazo. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Sebastian R. Collazo and Eustaquia Collazo and Concepsion Martinez; cousins, Juan and Manuel Martinez. David was an ace pitcher and baseball player growing up. As an adult, David and his siblings coached baseball for his son and his nephews. His love for sports never ceased and he was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed fishing with his children, family, and friends.. David was known as an incredibly hard and dedicated worker, working tirelessly to spend quality time with those he loved and cared about. He loved riding motorcycles and four-wheeling with his family. David loved music in a broad spectrum of genres.
