About | Carol Kay Brindley 65, of Rushville, passed away Monday January 10th at IU Medical Center. Born July 21, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Forrest McDaniel and Maxine McDaniel Ronan. She graduated from Rushville High School and married Harry E. Brindley on December 14, 1963, who survives. Carol was a member of the Theta Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and served as president from 1978 to 1979. She attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, IN where she served as a Lay Minister. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter Lisa (Martin) Bostic of Rushville; one son Gregg (Angelena) Brindley of Brazil, IN; and five grandchildren Samantha Bostic, Corey Bostic, Jaelen Stewart, Rachel Brindley, and Drew Brindley. She was preceded in death by one sister. Due to renovation at St. Mary Catholic Church, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday January 14 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Rev. Joseph Riedman officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Rushville. Family and friends may call and visit at the funeral centre from 4-8 pm Thursday January 13. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm.
