| About | Christopher W. Forman, 30, of Erie, KS and former resident of Rushville, IN passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 in Joplin, MO. He was born in Rushville, IN the son of Fred W. Forman and Patty (Mrs. Gaylon) McDonald. He was a 2004 Rushville High graduate. He enlisted in the US Army. Chris served combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas prior to his discharge in 2013. He was a student studying a degree in automotive mechanics at Vattercott College in Joplin, MO at the time of his death. He worked at Custom Builders Erie, KS and was a dedicated employee. Survivors include his father Fred W. Forman of Rushville, IN; his mother & step father Patty Cameron (Mrs. Gaylon) McDonald of Shelbyville IN; a half brother Joshua McDonald of Shelbyville, IN and several cousins also survive. Also missing him are his good friends Brad & Monica Simpson and Chris Stewart of Erie, KS. A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be 1PM Wednesday Jan 6, 2015 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with John Gasser officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow at Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery in the new veterans section. The Forman family wishes to thank the many people and veterans organizations who have come together and worked tirelessly to help bring Chris home.
