| About | Christy A. Volz 35, of New Castle, passed away Nov. 23, 2013 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:30 PM Sunday December 1, 2013 at the Raleigh Christian Church with Rev. Tony Augsburger officiating where friends may call one hour prior. Christy was born Aug. 17, 1978 in Rushville, the daughter of Scott & Kathy (Akers) Burge. She was married to Steve Volz in 2008 and he survives. She was a homemaker and also a part time student at IU East in Richmond. She graduated from RCHS in 1996. Left to cherish her memory include her grandparents, John & Coralyn Burge of Lewisville; parents, Scott & Kathy Burge of Carthage; husband, Steve Volz of New Castle; two sons, Avery & Ayden and daughter, Emma. Her sisters Casy (Robert) Frye of Connersville and Heather Burge (Angel Hernandez) of Knightstown will also miss her. She had several nieces & nephews.
