Estimated graduation age of 18 yrs old. ------------------------------------------------ David Allen Percell, 68, of Arlington died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at his home. Born Jan. 9, 1940, in Rushville, he was the son of Payton Percell and Ethel (Childers) Percell. He married Joyce Mann on Nov. 22, 1962, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 5, 2005. Survivors include his daughters, Tina (husband, Bradd) Stamm of Carthage, Janet Rush of Indianapolis and Cindi Percell of Indianapolis; brother, Danny (wife, Linda) Percell of Rushville; sisters, Diann Clark of Fort Wayne, Doreen (husband, Ronnie) Jarman of New Salem and Debbie (husband, James) Evans of Rushville; and grandchildren, Courtney Percell of Indianapolis, and Erinn Stamm and Kendall Stamm, both of Carthage. He also was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Mr. Percell lived in Arlington for most of his life. He retired from P.K.G. as a truck driver. Mr. Percell was a U.S. Navy veteran. He graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School Mr. Percell was a member of Hannegan Christian Church, American Legion in Rushville and Arlington Liars Corner. He was an avid race fan. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Todd Funeral Home, 805 N. Main St. in Rushville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Warren Engel officiating. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery, in Arlington, with military rites conducted. |
