| About | Dorris E. McAlister, 82, of Rushville, passed away July 28, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville. She was born March 7, 1933, to William L.C. and Etta Elizabeth Harper McAlister. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1952. She attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary and Ozark Bible College. She lived away from Rushville for many years, moving back in 1998. She is survived by two sisters, Maxine Bradburn (Melvin) and Patricia Lacy; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by per parents; two brothers, James B. and Melvin Eugene "Shorty" McAlister; and sisters, Evelyn Marjorie Fletcher (Wade) and Viola Pollitt. A memorial service will be held at noon Aug. 22, 2015, at the Rushville Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. There will be no graveside service. |
