About | Douglas A. Raab, 30, of Rushville, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in a traffic accident in Shelby County. He was born Nov. 8, 1980, in Rushville, to Daryl and Lynda (Justice) Raab, who survive. Other survivors include sisters, Leeann Lacy of Waldron and LaDonna Raab of Manilla; nephews, Kyle and Andrew Lacy and grandparents, Charles and Mary Justice and Betty Raab, all of Manilla. Douglas was a 1999 graduate of Rushville High School and earned an associate's degree in computer engineering from ITT Technical Institute. He was part owner of WSVX 96.5-FM radio in Shelbyville, where he served as engineer and program manager for the last five years. He also was chief operator for Shelby Supply for the last two years. He had been instrumental in helping to develop the future WRLN 91.9-FM radio station for Rushville Consolidated High School. He was active in Faith Community Church in Manilla. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Moster Mortuary, 334 N. Main St.,Rushville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at First Church of God, 1200 W. U.S. 52, Rushville, with Pastors Gary Jordan and Jerri Cadwallader officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington.
