About | Earl Wilson Reynolds, 91, a life long Rushville resident, passed away at his home in Rushville July 1, 2014. Earl was born July 31, 1922 in Rushville to Bruce Harley & Lola Pearl (Brammel) Reynolds. He was a 1941 graduate of Rushville High School. Earl was a WW2 US Navy veteran, serving from 1942-1945. He married Dorothy Meyer on February 21, 1948 and she preceded him in death on February 11, 2008. Earl retired from Schnadig Corporation in 1984 where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of the Main Street Christian Church, past president of the R Club, a founder of Rushville Cub League baseball, coaching both cub league & little league, a member of the American Legion Post #150, Rushville Elks Lodge #1307, an avid fisherman & an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Earl leaves behing his sons, Gary & wife Sandy Reynolds of Glenwood and Randy Reynolds of Rush County, daughters, Connie Niedenthal of Rush County & Barb Reynolds & companion Mike Borders of Rushville, son-in-law, Danny Warrick of North Webster, IN., 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, Maria Warrick and a brother, Jim Reynolds. Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Mick Saunders presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 4-8 PM on Friday evening, July 4. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. The Rush County Veteran's Honor Guard will provide military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Rush County Boy's & Girl's Club or Rush County Youth Baseball. |
