| About | Ellis L. Moor 64, of Rushville passed away April 28, 2011 at his home with his family at his side. He was born January 3, 1947 the son of the late Hugh D. Moor and Priscilla (Sorrell) Moor. His mother survives. He married Paula Sallee June 8, 1985 and she survives. A 1966 graduate of Rushville High School, he was a well known athlete most memorable for his recognition on the varsity basketball team. He also was an active FFA and 4-H member through his life. He was a lifelong farmer. He was a US Army veteran of Viet Nam, and a member of the American Legion. In addition to his wife Paula and Mother Priscilla, he was survived by two daughters April (David) Cleland of Westfield and Deborah Lee Moor of Indianapolis; four step sons, Robert Shawn (Tina) Williamson of New Castle, Rodney (Leah) Williamson of Brownsburg, Donald Richey Jr. of Shelbyville, and Matthew (Krista) Richey of Camp Lejeune, NC; one brother Rick Moor of Rushville and Eight Grandchildren also survive. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday 10am at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville with Pastor Sam Davenport officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6pm at the funeral centre. Burial with Military rites will follow at Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to your local FFA or 4-H chapter. |
