| About | Eloise Mary (Kennedy) VanSickle, 91, of Travelers Rest, formerly of Rushville, IN, widow of William Robert VanSickle, passed away March 22, 2015 at Spring Park Assisted Living in Travelers Rest. Born in Rush County, IN, she was a daughter of the late John Dale and Mary Alice Heizer Kennedy . Mrs. VanSickle graduated from Rushville High School in 1941, was a member of Travelers Rest United Methodist Church, former member of Main Street Christian Church in Rushville, IN, and a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. Surviving are one son: Ronald VanSickle (Linda); one daughter: Sandra Bailey (Bruce); three grandchildren: Joshua Matthews, Carole Ellis (Bryan), and Ryan VanSickle (Jen); and four great-grandchildren: Kayla, Cassie, Sam, and Jake Ellis. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by twin sisters, Elizabeth Kennedy Griffin, and Elaine Kennedy Griffin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, 6714 State Park Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Rushville, IN. Graveside services will be announce at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Travelers Rest United Methodist Church, 19 S.
