| About | Jack D. Bridgeman 52, New Palestine, died Jan. 15, 2005. He was born Jan. 29, 1952 in Rush County to Walter S. Bridgeman and Atha Jean Upchurch. He was a 1970 graduate of Rushville High School. Jack operated crain's for nearly 30 years. The last 25 years he had operated for RH Marlin in Indianapolis. Jack was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield and the Union of Operating Engineers in Indianapolis, #103. Jack married Linda Carlton on August 31, 1985 and she survives. Other survivors include mother Atha Jean Bridgeman, Rushville; son David Starkey, Wanamaker; daughter Norma Starkey, Carmel; sister Ima Jean Bridgeman, Rushville; grandson Conner Starkey, Carmel. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Kathy Sorrell. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Moster & Cox Mortuary, Rushville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2005. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Rushville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hancock County or the American Cancer Association. |
