| About | Janice L. Martz Siler, 87, a lifelong Rushville area resident, passed away at 9:30 PM Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Rushville. She was born April 23, 1925 in Rushville to Marion & Mary (Rainey) O'Dell. She was a 1944 graduate of Rushville High School. She married William Thomas Martz on February 25, 1945 and he passed away on April 28, 1968. She married Ernest Siler on April 26, 1977 and he survives. Janice worked many years at Schnadig Corporation and was also a nurses aid at Jackson Nursing Home in Rushville. In addition to her husband Ernest, she is survived by her sons, Thomas & wife Rosetta Martz of Connersville, Larry & wife Tutti Martz and Richard & wife Julie Martz, both of Rushville, a step son, William Eugene and wife Mariette Siler of Muncie and a step daughter, Julie & husband Alan Baker of Connersville, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchilren also survive. In addition to her parents and 1st husband, Janice was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister. Services will be held at 4 PM Thursday, July 26 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville where friends are welcome to visit from 2 PM until time of service that same day. Rev. Dena Vittorio will preside and burial will be held at a later date in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. |
