About | Janie Mitchell, 62, of Indianapolis, formerly of Rush County, passed away at 9:38 PM Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Janie Worrell was born September 15, 1948 in Connersville, IN to Homer Willard Worrell, deceased and Marie (Clemons) Cheatham, living. Janie lived the last 15 years in Indianapolis but had lived most of her life in Rush County. Janie operated Carefree cleaning & gardening in Indianapolis the last 16 years. She worked at the Copeland Corporation in Rushville for 20 years, retiring in 1996. She also worked at D&M & Philco Ford in Connersville several years. She was a 1966 graduate of Rushville High School. She was a lover of animals. She enjoyed living life, fishing, gardening, walks on the beach and anything pertaining to the outdoors. In addition to her mother, Marie Cheatham of Middletown, IN, Janie leaves behind her sons, Shane & wife Misty Harrison of Liberty, Jason Harrison of Rushville, brothers, Mike & wife Tari Worrell of Middletown, IN, Jim & wife Kim Cheatham of Brookville, OH, sisters, Sharon Jones & friend Jim Bowers of Anderson, IN, Byrd (Class of 1969) & husband Ross Grimsley of Baltimore, MD, Renee & husband Mick Waltz of Brookville, OH and grandchildren, Emily, Grant & Eligh Harrison. Janie was preceded in death by her father & a granddaughter, Devon Harrison. Betty Large will preside.
