| About | Jeffrey A. Koors, 28, R.R. 7, Franklin County died August 21, 1989 in an auto accident. His wife, Lois Jean (Steele) Koors also died in the accident. He was born November 6, 1960, in Rush County to Clemens R. and Thelma Munchel Koors. He was a 1979 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He had resided in the Garrison Creek area the past three years and had been employed five years in the compressor department at Ford Electronics and Refrigeration. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Jeff is survived by his two sons; Steven M. and Shane Michael, and one daughter, Stacey Michelle, all at home; his father and stepmother, Mr. & Mrs Clemens Koors of Connersville; one brother, Gregg Koors, R.R. 4, Rushville; two sisters, Jane Koors-Mahan and Mrs. Paul (Cynthia) Smith, both of Arlington; and a grandmother, Theresia J. (Tebbe) Munchel, R.R. 1, Rushville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma (Munchel) Koors. Funeral services for the couple will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Rev. Willie Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Laurel North Cemetery.
