| About | Obituary for Jim G. Emerson Jim G. Emerson, 75 of Rushville, passed away on July 26, 2019 in Greenfield. He was born on November 7, 1943 in New Castle, IN to the late John Warrick and Dorothy Winona (Chamberlain) Emerson. Jim was a 1962 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He married Cecilia Frances (Lewis) Emerson on December 21, 1965 and she preceded him in death on October 30, 2012. Jim served his country in the United States Air Force and met Cecilia in Laredo, TX while he was stationed there. He was a co-owner and operator of Williamson & Waite Insurance Company and Blue River Knife Works. Jim was also was a bail bondsman for many years. He was a member of the Rushville Elks Lodge #1307. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jodi Ann (Chad Yazel) Emerson of Connersville; brother, David (SueAnn) Emerson of Texas; sister, Carolyn (Ralph) Kramer of Rushville. He will also be missed by his fur baby, Warrick, and several nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cecilia Emerson; son, John C. Emerson; and brother, Joe Emerson. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 in Moster Mortuary from 4 PM- 8 PM.
