About | Jo S. (Mullin) Baker, 90, of Englewood, Ohio died June 19, 2009. Born Aug. 23, 1918 in Harrison County, Ky., she was the daughter of Henry and Vergie (McKinley) Mullin, both deceased. She was married for 34 years to James M. Baker. Mrs. Baker was raised in Rushville and graduated from Rushville High School in 1938. She then attended Hamilton Business School in Hamilton, Ohio. She moved to Dayton in 1943 and began working at WPAFB. She later was employed as a secretary in the engine, aircraft and electronic fields for many years. She attended Salem Church of God in Clayton for many years, was a member of the Jonathan Dayton Chapter of the DAR, and a Life Member of Delta Chapter, Delta Chi Sigma Sorority International. Survivors include sister, Jean Rhoton Clauss of Des Plaines, Ill.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne and Dixie Mullin, and step son, Gary W. Baker. Arrangements were handled by the Kindred Funeral Home in Englewood, Ohio. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, Preble County, Ohio. |
