| About | Joan L. Sednek McLaughlin 57, of Rushville passed away July 22, 2004 at her residence. Born September 26, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA she was the daughter of William F. & Kathryn I. Sullivan Sednek, her mother survives. She was the President & CEO of McSherr Inc. She graduated from Rushville High in 1964 and attended Ball State University and Indiana State University. She attended the Voice for Christ Church and was a member of Governor's Choice Committee; I.N.A.R.F. and RELIV. Survivors include: Mother Kathryn I. Sendek of Denver, CO One son Chris McLaughlin of St. Louis, MO One daughter Jennifer S. (Mrs. Gregory) Krodel of Noblesville, IN. Three brothers Michael Sednek of Greely, CO Stephen Sednek of Bailey, CO, Johan Sednek of Omaha, NE. Ten sisters Judith (Mrs. Bob) Schmidt of Aurora, CO Alice (Mrs. Bruce) Dice of Littleton, CO Rebecca (Mrs. Doug) Newkirk of Stillwater, OK Margaret (Mrs. David) Smith of Waldron, IN, Mary (Mrs. Steve) Wilson of Rushville, IN Amy (Mrs. Jeff) Ruxer of Jasper, IN Anita, Marcia & Nanette Sednek all of Albuquerque, NM Theresa Sednek of Corydon, IN Nana to: Lillian (Lily) Alyse & Caleb Michael Krodel of Noblesville, IN 24 Nieces & Nephews; Seven Great Nieces & Nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her father, one brother & one sister. Funeral Services will be 10 AM July 27, 2004 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Rev. Douglas Gast officiating.
