| About | John Dale "Jack" Hedrick, 54, of Manilla, passed away peacefully at his home on September 18, 2014. Jack was born May 22, 1960 in Rushville to Gerald D. & Alice (Waggoner) Hedrick. He married Katie Wilson on April 16, 1983 and she survives. Jack was a 1978 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He joined the US Navy after high school & served honorably until 1981. Jack enjoyed scouting & obtained the honor of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Main Street Christian Church in Rushville and was Past Master of the Andersonville Masonic Lodge #96 F&AM. In addition to his wife, Katie, of Manilla, Jack is survived by his mother, Alice Hedrick of Rushville, brothers, Jimmy & wife Rebecca Hedrick of Shelbyville, David Hedrick of Rushville & Dan & wife Lisa Hedrick of Rushville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Gerald. A Celebration of Jack's life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 PM at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit from 12:30PM until time of celebration. There will be Masonic and Military rites at the mortuary prior to the celebration. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. |
