| About | John R. Moster, 75, of Columbus, passed from this life at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born in Rushville, Sept. 6, 1939, Mr. Moster was the son of William F. and Lois E. Ward Moster. He married Jacqueline Mauzy on Jan. 6, 1958. Earlier in life, Mr. Moster was the golf pro at the Seymour Country Club. He later managed Thompson Sporting Goods in Columbus and currently he was self employed in the antique industry. Having a true passion for the outdoors, Mr. Moster was a life member of the American Trapshooting Association and he enjoyed golfing, fishing, shooting and going to antique sales. Mr. Moster is survived by his wife Jacqueline; daughter, Diana Moster of Seymour; siblings, Mary (Ivo) Kask of Indianapolis, Sara Rivers of Muncie, Thomas (Edna) Moster of Rushville, and Nancy (Carl) Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Moster was preceded in death by his parents. In keeping with Mr. Moster's wishes, cremation is planned. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society of the donor's choice. |
