| About | John Richard Todd 84, of Rushville passed away March 26, 2005 at Millers Merry Manor. He was born June 28, 1920 in Washington Township Rush County, IN the son of the late George L. & Nellie Hayes Todd. He was a 1938 graduate of Rushville High and attended Notre Dame for three years before entering the US Army in December 1941. He served as a Technical Sergeant at McCloskey General Hospital in Temple Texas during WWII. He worked as a farmer on his family farm near Raleigh and enjoyed trapping in Rush County most of his life. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 769. Survivors include a sister- in-law Martha Todd of Rushville; many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister Maryanna Fahey and one brother Pat Todd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday March 29, 2005 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. William Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Rushville. Friends may call Monday March 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rosary recited at 8:00 PM. |
