| About | Joseph A. Malcom, 51, a long time Rushville resident, passed away at his home on Saturday evening, April 30, 2011. He was born December 23, 1959 in Rushville, IN to Roscoe and Betty (Stanley) Malcom, both deceased. Joe married Susan Mittleman on September 3, 1983 and she survives. Joe was a member of the Rushville Eagles Lodge, the Knights of Columbus and was on the Rushville City Utilities Board. He was a basketball official for 10 years and a girls softball coach. He was a 1978 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville. In addition to his wife Susan of Rushville, Joe is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Rob (Melissa) Jackson of Indianapolis, Rebecca Malcom of Rushville, brothers Dick (wife Beth) Malcom of Rushville, Gary (wife Angie) Malcom of Indianapolis, IN and grandson, Robbie Jackson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Williams and brothers, Mark and David. Father Joseph Riedman will preside. A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:30. Memorials: Becky' College fund.
