About | Joseph Loren Strang, 23, of Indianapolis, formerly of Rushville died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008 at his residence. Born Nov. 28, 1985 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Denise (Strang) Bailey and Danny Bailey. He was raised in Rushville, graduating from Rushville Consolidated High School in 2004. He played football and basketball. He also worked at Kroger while in high school. He was currently employed as a laborer at Echo Engineering & Production Supply in Indianapolis. He served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of Rushville Baptist Temple. Mr. Strang is survived by his parents Danny and Denise Bailey of Rushville; paternal grandfather Gilbert Bailey and paternal grandmother Phyllis Haus, both of Shelbyville; maternal grandmother Barbara Strang of Battle Creek, Mich.; a sister, Jessica (Rick) Means of Indianapolis; a brother, Kenny Strang of Midland, Mich. Several aunts and uncles also survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather David Strang. A celebration of life service at will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Gary Evans officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Todd Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Arlington East Hill Cemetery. |
