Kenneth L. King, 62, a life long Rush County resident, passed away July 23, 2014 in Indianapolis.

He was born Oct. 25, 1951 in Rushville to Norman V. and Norma C. (Alsman) King. Kenneth was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School Class of 1970.

He married Cheryl Masters on Dec. 14, 1974 and she survives.

Kenneth worked in the machine shop at Freudenburg NOK in Shelbyville where he had been for nearly 16 years. He had also worked at Print Pak in Greensburg for 10 years. Kenneth was a member of the Milroy United Methodist Church. He was Past Master of the Milroy Masonic Lodge #139 F&AM and had held every office with the lodge.

In addition to his wife, Cheryl, of Rush County, he is survived by his sons, Brian King of Rush County and David King and wife Athena of Greensburg; brother, Allen and wife Marilyn King of Milroy; and grandchildren, Kalie, Isabelle and Alexis King, Tequila, Logan and Draven Yeager.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 27.

Masonic services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery and Pastor Phil Mitchell will preside.
