| About | Larry Wissing, 53, of Manilla died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at Morristown Manor in Morristown. Born Sept. 16, 1955, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Wallace K. and Marjorie I. (Moore) Wissing. He graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School in 1973 where he participated in FFA his sophomore, junior and senior years. Survivors include his sisters, Betty Wissing and Brenda Wissing, both of Manilla; and brothers, Michael (wife, Chris) Wissing, Gary (wife, Mary) Wissing, Lloyd Wissing and his twin brother Terry Wissing, all of Manilla. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patty Wissing. Mr. Wissing had been employed at Rush County Co-op, Bane Equipment in Rushville and Smith Implements in Greenfield. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Wissing enjoyed fishing and hunting. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Mary M. Lundgren officiating. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County. |
