| About | Laurie Jane Marlatt, 31, of Rushville, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at her residence. Born March 8, 1975, in Rushville, she was the daughter of Mick and Alice (Atkinson) Saunders; both survive. She married Paul Marlatt June 24, 1995; he survives. Mrs. Marlatt lived her entire life in Rush County and was a 1993 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. She had worked at Dr. Winters office since 1994 as an expanded dental assistant. She was a member of Lewisville Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon. She had also been very active with Relay for Life and was a member of the County Patchwork Home Ec Club. Survivors in addition to her parents and husband include one son, Levi Marlatt of Rushville; one brother, Rob Saunders of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Amanda Saunders of Fishers; and grandmother, Marie Saunders of Lewisville. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Linda Philabaun and Pastor Mick Saunders officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the trust fund being established at Citizens State Bank for her son Levi's education. |
