| About | Lee Montgomery, 84, a life long Rushville resident, passed away October 26, 2015 at his home in Rushville. Lee was born August 31, 1931 in Rushville to Ferda & Frances (Ryckman) Montgomery. He married Mary (Milligan) Sloan on August 19, 1989 and she survives. Lee did electrical work many years. He was the Rushville Dog Warden for 16 years and retired doing janitorial work for both Webb & Manilla Schools. In addition to his wife, Mary, of Rushville, he is survived by sons, Gary C. Montgomery & wife Judy of Pleasantville, Ronnie Montgomery & wife Christine of Shelbyville, Gary Lee Allen & wife Judy of Rushville and Dewey Paul Allen, Jr. & wife Cheryl of Rushville, daughters, Kathy Scott & husband Jimmy of Franklin, Mary Tillison of Connersville and Paulett Cambell & husband Joe of Westport, brothers, Tom Montgomery & wife Cristabelle of Rushville, Kenny Montgomery & wife Joyce of Greenfield, sisters, Ruthanne McClaron & husband Jay B. of Greenfield, Darlene Young & husband Aaron of Rushville and Linda Mathews & husband Danny of Rushville, 19 grandchilren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Turner. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Favorite Charity. |
