| About | Linda S. Williams Swain, 54, of Brookville and formerly of Rushville, passed away June 8, 2011 at Fayette Memorial Hospital, Connersville. Linda was born Aug. 10, 1956 in Henry County, the daughter of the late Charles Williams and Wilma (Sweet) Logan. She graduated from Rushville High School and worked as a clerk at several different convenience station locations through the years. She was married to Mike Swain in 1997 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker and loved and cared for her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jo Swain of Brookville; sons, Brad (Carrie) Williams of Brookville, Matt (Michelle) Williams of Oldenburg and Kelly Williams of Brookville; brothers, Bob, Jack, Brian, Art, Tommy and Earl Coffey; and nine grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Daniel, and one brother, Dave. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory, 1600 S. SR 3 Rushville with Pastor Steve Downard officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Little Blue River Wesleyan Church Cemetery near Arlington.
