About | Lois Moster, 92, of Rushville, died May 4, 2009. Born March 31, 1917 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Elsie (Rea) Ward, both deceased. She married William F. Moster Oct. 30, 1938; he preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1991. Mrs. Moster was a member of Main Street Christian Church in Rushville for over 50 years and past member of Tri Kappa. She was a 1935 graduate of Rushville High School and attended Methodist Nurses School. She also was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at IU. She enjoyed traveling, raising English Bulldogs and was the Main Street Christian Church salad bar chairwoman for many years. Survivors include sons, John R. (Jacque) Moster of Columbus and Thomas W. (Edna) Moster of Rushville; daughters, Mary (Ivo) Kask of Indianapolis, Sara Rivers of Muncie and Nancy (Carl) Thomas of Avondale, Ariz., eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Main Street Christian Church in Rushville with the Rev. Robert Harris officiating. Entombment will be in Rushville's East Hill Shrine Mausoleum. Visitation will be after noon Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Christian Church and/or the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by Moster Mortuary. |
