About | Mark Allan Miller, Sr., 63, passed away Nov. 9, 2014. The Celebraion of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. --Greensburg Daily News, Wed, 12 Nov 2014-- *** Mark Allan Miller, Sr., 63, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 9, 2014. Mark was born to Irvin J. and Rebecca "Becky" L. (Miller) McMichael. Mark lived most of his life in Rushville and was the owner/operator of Charter Taxi for over twenty years. For over thirty-five years, Mark worked in a number of transportation related positions and traveled hundreds of thousands of miles across America. Prior to his many years in the travel industry, Mark worked with his father in a number of business endeavors. Family and friends always meant a great deal to Mark. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mark was blessed with three children that he dearly loved: Mark "Chip" Allan Miller, Jr., Misty Dawn (Craig) Moore; Wendy Marie (Russ) Pate and three wonderful grandchildren: Drake, Autumn and Kendra. Mark also had four stepchildren and several step-grandchildren with whom he had special relationships: Steve Aday, Charlie (Dianna) Aday, CJ Jackson and Tyler (Moriah) Hornback. Mark had three brothers and three sisters: Debra (Richard) Hunter, Eric (Vicki) Miler, Connie Cole, Jay (Donna) Miller, Jeff Miller, Annie (Don) Bell and countless nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Mark. Mark and his stepfather, Lowell McMichael, enjoyed a trusted and loyal friendship before and beyond his mom's passing. Preceding Mark in death are his son, Chip, his father, Irvin J. Miller and his mother, Rebecca "Becky" L. (Miller) McMichael. Mark's Celebration of Life Service wil be held at Burns Funeral Home, 110 West Main St, Milroy, IN on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. Everyone that knew Mark knew he loved animals. Through the years, he adopted all kinds of animals and made them his pets.
