| About | Marlin E. "Peanut" Beaver, 66, of Rushville, passed away August 5, 2015 in Rushville. He was born December 5, 1948 in Rushville to Robert H. & Lorraine (Hammitt) Beaver. Marlin was a graduated from Rushville High School Class of 1967. Marlin lived in California many years after high school. He operated a pawn shop in Rushville for many years and also worked in Columbus for Catepillar for a few years. Marlin was in the US Army Reserves for a while. He enjoyed playing bass guitar for the Five Dimensions, the Flatrock River Band and Whiskey Tango. He also enjoyed fishing. Marlin is survived by a brother, Larry "Butch" Beaver & wife Patty of Greenfield, a sister, Jerry Hurst & husband Allen of Rush County, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a time of visiting from 2-5 PM on Saturday afternoon, August 8 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Cremation will follow. |
