About | March 9, 2012 Rushville Republican RUSHVILLE On Saturday, March 3, 2012, the world lost a great man. Michael L. Bussberg was a loving family man, former U.S. Marine, security guard and friend who was known for his kindness, charm and one-line anecdotes. He will certainly be missed by all. Michael was born Sept. 1, 1950 to Clara Mae and George Bussberg. He married Kathy Price Sept. 8, 1979. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; sons, Michael II (Tessa), Matthew, Erik and Robert, all of Rushville; daughters, Georgana Taylor of Flat Rock and Shaunna Bussberg of Shelbyville; grandsons, Logan Taylor of Shelbyville and Matthew Bussberg of Arkansas; granddaughters, Angela Taylor of Flat Rock and Janessa Bussberg of Rushville; his loving mother, Clara Mae (John) Lenox of Arlington; brothers, George (Betty) of Queen, N.Y., Terry of Rushville and Jerry (Tiffany) of Goshen; sisters, Carol (Bob) Lennex, Karen (Rick) Dawson, Tammy (Darrell) Wagner and Penny (Don) McElfresh, all of Rushville. He was preceded by his father, George; and baby granddaughter, Shealynne Bussberg. Michael asked that his body be donated to research, thus there will be no funeral service per his request. There will be a Celebration of Life from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Rushville American Legion. All are welcome to come and share your life with him. |
