About | Nancy Kay Leach, 73, passed away Sept. 25, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center. She was born Apr. 5, 1941 in Rushville, Rush County, Indiana. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at Natchez Trace Funeral Chapel in Madison, Mississippi, with interment in Jessamine Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Nancy was a wonderful and beloved homemaker who always had a smile on her face. She was nominated every year during high school for homecoming queen and was queen for the Rushville High School. She was selected as princess for the Indianapolis 500 race court. She worked for the Mississippi State University School of Architecture for over eight years and later managed the transportation office there for several more years. She later helped her husband establish and run Ameitech/South, a woodworking machine and cabinet business in Ridgeland, Miss. She also coached children’s soccer for several years. Her most treasured times were spent at the beach in Ft. Morgan, Ala., with her husband, children, relatives and friends. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe David Leach; daughter, Arin Leach Malouf (Mitchell); son, Eric David Leach (Angel); sister, Roxie Waggoner; brothers, Freddie Earnest, Billy Earnest and Danny Earnest; grandchildren, Stephanie Malouf, Joey Malouf, Dylan Malouf, Lanie Leach and Tyler Leach. Burial: Jessamine Cemetery, Ridgeland, Madison County, Mississippi. |
