| About | Patricia Ruth Shauck, 70, of Arlington, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Rush Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 18, 1935, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Waldo and Nelda (Arnold) Mohr, both deceased. She married John A. Shauck Oct. 12, 1957; he preceded her in death June 18, 1993. Mrs. Shauck had lived in the Arlington area since 1957. She was a 1953 graduate of Rushville High School. She worked at the Rush County Auditor's office in the 1950s. She was a member of Main Street Christian Church, the Martha Poe Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Rushville, and King's Daughters. Survivors include two sons, Paul Shauck (and wife Andrea) of Shelby County and Robert Shauck of Rush County; two daughters, Kay Shauck of home and Master Sergeant Ellen Kilinc of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Jo (Mrs. Harold) Weber of Muncie and Lois Ann (Mrs. Leonard) Booth of North Carolina; and five grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Rush Memorial Hospital c/o the MEDS Unit. |
