| About | Phillip L. Sons age 33, of Rushville died Sept. 9, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital following treatment of a brain tumor. He was born August 26, 1983 in Rushville a son of Mark and Lavada (Bowling) Sons. He was a 2002 graduate of Rushville High School. Phillip worked at the Copeland Corp in Rushville for nine years. Surviving family include his son, Jalen D. Sons of Rushville; parents, Mark & Lavada Sons of Rushville; two brothers, Michael Puckett of Greensburg and Matthew A. Sons of Rushville; paternal grandfather, John (Yvonne) Sons of Campbellsburg, IN; maternal grandfather Ted Bowling of Rushville. Many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews also survive. Phillip was preceded in death by grandparents Patricia Dickey, Donna Sons, Bessie Bowling and uncle Mike Sons. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 11 AM to 1 PM Tuesday Sept. 13, 2016 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with a service at 1 PM. Cremation will follow services.
