| About | Becky Bastin, 50, Fort Myers, Fla., former Shelby County resident, died Friday at her home. She suffered with cancer of the throat. Born Sept. 14, 1949, in Connersville (IN), she was the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Tellas. She married Robert Michael Bastin on Sept. 13, 1979, and he survives. She was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a former nurse's aid at Waldron Health Care Home. Other survivors include her parents, Naples, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. David (Bobbie Ann) Parson, Naples; one son, Michael Bastin, Leehigh Acres, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Gene (Rachael) Swaggart, Naples; three brothers, Bobby Tellas, Tommy Tellas and John Tellas, all of Rush County; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday at Horizen Funeral Home, Fort Myers. A memorial service will be conducted in Shelbyville (IN) at a later date. " |
