| About | Rebecca Joan Cherry, 76, of Rushville, died June 26, 2008 at the Flatrock River Lodge. Becky was born February 1, 1932 in Rushville to the late Dewey Price & Catherine Aileen (Ryan) Cox. She was a 1950 graduate of Rushville High School and worked at the former Schnadig Corporation in Rushville and Sears in Indianapolis for many years. She retired from the former Marion County / Indianapolis Medical Pool as an office worker. She leaves behind one son Doug (wife Kelly) Cherry of Martinsville, IN; two daughters Lyn Cherry Stribling of Seneca, SC and Kay (husband Joe) Beauprey of Lowell, IN; one brother Jim Cox (wife Barb Trabue) of Cocoa Beach, FL; three sisters Sue Frye of Marion, IL, Doris (husband Bill) Peterson of Bloomington, IN and Martha Todd of Rushville; a brother in law Jim Hufferd of Portsmouth, OH; four grandchildren Elizabeth Finley, Christopher (wife Tessa) Meyers, Todd & Curtis Cherry; two great grandchildren also survive. She is preceded by two sisters Emma Lee Cox & Jane Hufferd. A celebration of Life Service will be held 2 pm Monday June 30, 2008 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville. Friends may call Monday June 30th from Noon to until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana 2626 E. 17th St. Columbus, IN 47201.
