| About | Richard S. Earnest 40, of Franklin, IN, formally of Rush County, passed away JUNE 4, 2004 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, IN after an extended illness of diabetes. Born in Rushville, IN JULY 30, 1963 he was the son of Dallas Fred & Janet Binder Earnest whom survive. He was a 1982 graduate of Rushville High and was married to Linda K. King NOV 20, 1999 and she survives. He was a kitchen worker at Camp Atterbury for the Atterbury Job Corps. He was a member of the Rushville Church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife Linda Earnest of Franklin; Grandmother Mary R. Earnest; Parents Mr. Mrs. Dallas F. Earnest; one daughter Megan Elizabeth Earnest, two sons Ethan Scott & Hunter Andrew Earnest all of Rushville; one sister Cheryl Ann Earnest of Carthage; two brothers Jay (wife Peggy) Earnest & Jeff (wife Donna) Earnest of New Palestine; two step sons Robert & Chris Blanton; five step daughters Thresa Giles, Marsha Burton, Tammy Johnson, Lisa Burton & Erica Burton also survive. 15 step- grandchildren and several nieces & nephews also survive. The funeral will be 1:00PM Monday JUNE 7, 2004 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Gerald Holdman & Warren Engel officiating. Burial will follow at the Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington, IN. Friends may call from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral. |
