| About | July 2, 2012 Rushville Republican RUSHVILLE — Robert A. Newman, Sr., 62, a lifelong Rushville resident, passed away at 10:10 AM Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Greensburg. He was born September 8, 1949 in Rushville to Donald & Katherine (Gilpin) Newman. Robert was a US Army veteran. He is survived by sons, Robert A., Jr. & wife Rachel Newman, Joshua Newman and David Newman all of Rushville, a daughter, Nikki Newman of Rushville, sisters, Barbara & husband Dan Remy and Michelle Wood all of Rushville and Brenda & husband Don Shepard and Linda Lightner all of Shelbyville and 7 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Donald. Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 6 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville where friends may visit from 6-8PM Thursday evening, July 5. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Rev.
