| About | Robert C. “Bob” Jordan, 84, a lifelong Rushville resident passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in Indianapolis, IN. Bob was born in Rushville, IN on May 26, 1931 to the late Chester “Chet” and Mae Ruth (Casey) Jordan. Bob was a1949 graduate of Rushville High School. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953. He worked at [Meijer] in Noblesville for 20 years. Bob was a member of the Rushville American Legion Post #150 and the Shriners. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, loved baseball and was an active bowler in Rushville. Survivors include a son, Robert “Rob” Jordan and wife Kay of Gainsboro, TN, sister, Mary Lou McCorckle of Aurora, CO, half-brother, Tom Jordan, 3 grandchildren, Khailey Lynn and husband Justin Brown, Dalton and Cory Jordan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Pastor John Wall will preside. The Rush County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
