| About | Roberta Kay Thompson, 59, of Rushville, died Aug. 8, 2008. Born Sept. 19, 1948 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Robert and Wilmeta (Browning) Thompson; her mother, a Rushville resident, survives. Mrs. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Rush County and a 1966 graduate of Rushville High School. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Rushville. She had worked at Gecom in Greensburg for the past year and as an inspector at Randall Company in Greensburg for more than 30 years. Survivors in addition to her mother include son, Matthew Aaron Stewart of Greenfield; daughter, Jamie Stewart of Normal, Ill.; brothers, Mark Myers and Bill, Mike and Norman "Rusty" Bailey, all of Rushville; sister, Linda Myers of Rush County; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rushville Baptist Temple with Pastor Garry Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. |
